How do I know what vehicle suits my needs?
- Vehicles are fitted with a number of seat belts. This always determines the number that can travel in a particular vehicle.

How old do I have to be to drive a rental vehicle?
- For motor home rental minimum age is 21.
- For car, sleeper van and campervan rentals' which is 18.
- An additional age excess will apply for under 21 drivers.

Driving in Australian roads
- In Australia we drive on the left.

How are rental days calculated?
- Cars are based on 24 hour periods.
- Campervans and motor homes are per calendar day.

What is the refund policy?
Deposits paid to Getaround Oz are non refundable. If there is availability, it may be transferred to future booking.
This is dependent on supplier.

- For cancellation made within 24 hours of travelling full payment charged.
- Failure to show will result in full rental payment charged.
- There is no refund for any specials or seasonal offers.

What is the privcay policy?
Your privacy is important to us and we take every care to ensure that any personal information obtained in the process of your enquiry or booking is handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Laws.

Your information will not be sold, given or utilised for any purpose other than in accordance with providing the services you have requested. The information we collect is necessary to providing information or service and is handled in confidence by our staff at all times.

Any company that will provide a service to you arranged through Getaround Oz will have a similar policy and we do all we can to ensure the information passed to them is for your requested purpose. While we have taken every care to ensure your information is processed only for this purpose we cannot accept responsibility for a third party action. We take care to ensure that your information is stored and correctly utilised.

We are happy to update or correct your information and this is provided free of charge unless we have to access archives or will take considerable time to retrieve. Any requests from you will require proof of identity. We may be bound legally to provide your information to certain parties, for example government requirements or in relation to law provisions.
